What she said

I was thinking this morning about everyone is saying that it's so wonderful that this country has moved beyond racism by electing a black president, but I feel that that is not really true. Don't get me wrong, I could care less about the color, race, or gender of the president of our country, but I have the feeling that if a white guy proposed the same preposterous policies as president elect Obama then he very well may have been laughed out of the election.

Nikki sums it up better than I ever ever could:

Several things also struck me this morning as I was listening to the radio. One is the reaction of the Obama supporters to the victory. They didn't care about the issues. They didn't talk about the economy. They didn't discuss national security, or how Obama would be good for our country. They gushed over his victory, as if Jesus himself was resurrected and touched them upon their sweaty, sloped brows. They embraced the aura of the Lightbringer, cried, swooned, fanned themselves in clammy adoration and jabbered about how great it is that we elected a black man to the highest office in the land.

Kenyan president Mwai Kibaki declared today a national holiday for Kenyans, because a black man was elected president.

Yes, this is a historic thing. And yes, I agree with this guy that we've come a long way since slavery and Jim Crow. But for me, this election was never about color. It was only about color when those surrounding the Messiah MADE it about color. And while I'm proud that America has come so far in a relatively short time, judging by the reactions of the drooling, weeping Lightbringees, we're far from having put color behind us. Color apparently still matters to those of us who put race above substance and color above policy. I'm thrilled that America elected a black man to the White House. I think it shows that our national character has transcended racism. (Too bad it's not a black man of any substance whatsoever.)

Well put. And here our just desserts are explained:
Meanwhile enjoy the increased theft of your earnings. Enjoy the gradual erosion of your freedoms. Sit back and watch as the nation's wealth is redistributed to the lazy, stupid, worthless, sit-on-your-ass-and-do-nothing, self-proclaimed victims. Watch as they spend your earnings and complain that they didn't get enough of a helping hand in life. Enjoy the decimation of our national defense and the pandering to foreign dictators and those who wish us ill. You've earned it with every compromise of our ideals. You've ushered this in with every socialist, redistributionary policy. You engaged in fear mongering, instead of substantial policy discussion. You spewed vapid platitudes in a manipulative attempt to hide your disregard for the principles and ideals of this nation.
Cheers to the next four years.

On a different topic, I have to say that if I hear someone else say something along the lines of "thems the brakes" or any other such irrelevant and inflammatory garbage then I think I may just have to spit in their face. I'm a grownup, so I don't need to be told the obvious: that I'm gonna have to accept what has been done. Thanks though.

Now, I had plenty of sympathy for Democrats when Gore and Kerry were defeated. The only person that I didn't feel sorry for is that perfectly healthy woman in DC who was all in tears because she then had work to pay for her own rent. Boo hoo. Welcome to the real world. When Democrats got all bent out of shape because president Bush got re-elected, I got it. I understand. When they got all defiant about president Bush, saying he's "not my president," I could empathize with that. I got it. And I didn't want to rub it in, or try to be mean, because it's not a game. Regardless of the outcome, someone's playing for all the marbles, and that's not something to take lightly. So to those who tell me nah-nah, or or "open up a can o' man and suck it up," or tell me to not be bitter like the left was: save your breath. I have the right to be bitter just like they did. I can call our soon-to-be president names, and I can write him nasty-grams when he passes some new unconstitutional bill that extorts money from me and my family and redistributes it to some woman with eight illegitimate children from five different men. I will take the high road by not burning effigies, making death threats, attacking the secretary of state with red painted hands, and chaining myself to the door of abortion clinics, but I will say what I want until agents from the Bureau of Fairness kick in my door in the name of the light worker and kill me dead.

That's my right.

Beyond chaining yourself to a babykilling abortion mill.

You seem to imply there is something wrong if a babykilling abortion mill is burned or bomb. Which do you prefer, a pile of bricks or a pile of dead babies? Innocent unborn babies deserve to be protected just as born children deserve to be protected. You would have no problem protecting born children if they were about to be murdered.
SAY THIS PRAYER: Dear Jesus, I am a sinner and am headed to eternal hell because of my sins. I believe you died on the cross to take away my sins and to take me to heaven. Jesus, I ask you now to come into my heart and take away my sins and give me eternal life. http://www.armyofgod.com
