Barackalypse Now

With all of this talk about a new "Fairness Doctrine," how long do you think it will take until the Light Worker decides to sic it onto bloggers?
Protect the Openness of the Internet: A key reason the Internet has been such a success is because it is the most open network in history. It needs to stay that way. Barack Obama strongly supports the principle of network neutrality to preserve the benefits of open competition on the Internet.

That sounds like double-speak for keeping the internet neutral by regulation. Democrats usually secure their party's interests shortly after a big win, so I anticipate seeing this doctrine pushed through with a shiny new name.

Net Neutrality is a good thing- if done properly. I just don't want this to turn into a Communications Decency Act fucktard like we had under Bill Clinton. Which for those of you who don't remember, was an unconstitutional law STRUCK down by the supreme court that was used to sick dogs on anyone who spoke out against our benevolent leaders.
