Skewed priorities

Prisons can't afford to switch from analog TV to digital TV. Boo Hoo. I would rather read about prisons trying to figure out how to make the switch from gruel to bread and water.

Yes, I understand that prisoners would probably riot without their TV, but that doesn't mean that I have to have sympathy.

Rioting's easy to deal with in a prison.

Lock the place down and wait.

You wanna eat? End the riot, clean this mess up, get back into your cells and we'll toss you some food.

Oh...but then those poor innocent criminals could say that we weren't being NICE to them now couldn't they?

Hey, they may have had a rough childhood. Who are we to make them suffer while they are learning the finer points of a criminal career in prison?
