Jon Stewart on Ron Paul

I avoid politics like the plague these days, and to be honest I don't really care what's going on on the presidential battlefield at the moment, but yeah, it hasn't been lost on me about how Ron Paul is completely ignored. Ron Stewart does a great job stabbing at the media on the Ron Paul blackout. Funny.

***ETA: Jon Stewart; not Ron Stewart. Long night.

Well, Ron Paul has some skeleton's in his closet with regards to racism. His former newsletter is fairly damning.

Plus, there is this:

My other beef with him, and the same goes for Bachman, is that he is a congressman.... which means has no experience running a government. I prefer Governors to Congressmen and Senators.

"Jon" Stewart...

In the past, I've found Dr. Paul's extreme isolationism off-putting.
The whole "Audit the Fed" thing bothered me, too, as it would seem to put the fox in charge of the henhouse, or something...

Good catch on Jon/Ron. Decreased brain activity in my world.

I'm with y'all on Ron Paul; I wouldn't vote for him, but I do see that the media is acting like he doesn't exist.

And also to agree with Andy, Repubs historically have nominated Governors to run things, vice the Dems insistence on lawyers. I find that policy more favorable, especially since I don't regard lawyers with much respect.

"i get pissed off when people ignore him because he's an intelligent man with some valid points." That's right where I am, too.
