I had a similar issue and changed out my mags. Issue resolved. Also my gunsmith buddy made me change out my old mag springs so I would have a back up mag. We also changed out the recoil spring with a new one from Springfield. I use to use the Wilson recoil buffer pad but with +p ammo the gun would jamm about every third shot. New recoil spring, new mags. Good as new and cannot be happier. Hope this helps.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1540162652707616108.post-6470592305643244212008-05-16T23:43:00.000-04:002008-05-16T23:43:00.000-04:00I'm a realist, so I appreciate an honest response,...I'm a realist, so I appreciate an honest response, and your right.

My EDC is a Glock 17 with a Glock 26 BUG now that my 1911 is under the weather. I love 1911's because I shoot them so well, but the Glocks just work no matter what.

A government size 1911 is on my Christmas list, so time will tell what will come of that!

Thanks for the advice!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02544360303504618447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1540162652707616108.post-50972712649755515532008-05-16T23:21:00.000-04:002008-05-16T23:21:00.000-04:00I think, with all due respect, you made a very poo...I think, with all due respect, you made a very poor choice for a carry weapon with that micro 1911 clone. Carry a government or commander size, or switch platforms to something modern that (almost) never breaks, needs tuning, an oil bath, special/picked ammo, etc. I'm a polymer kool-aid drinker myself (Glock and HK) but I respect folks that like 1911s. Whatever works best for you. But ditch that paperweight for something that works, please!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
