Of course, there is also the fact that many in the audience look tougher than they are.Broken Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01562569871940946226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1540162652707616108.post-57631097091809741512011-12-08T11:00:27.459-05:002011-12-08T11:00:27.459-05:00Unfortunately, I never did get to see them play to...Unfortunately, I never did get to see them play together. That's something I still regret. I still have all their albums, though.

"I mean the crowd at a Pantera show is not filled with members of the chess club for crying out loud."

Very true. It's still telling that one guy who took on the shooter was the little guy. It still stands out in my mind as the rawest, tightest, highest energy show I've been too, and it was clear even back then that Darrell was the heart of that band. Pantera's music goes under appreciated by a lot of folks which is a shame.

You are right about that video. Amazing that no one helped Kat try and subdue the guy. I mean the crowd at a Pantera show is not filled with members of the chess club for crying out loud. I would think that there be at least a couple of fearless metal heads in the crowd that would step up to help after seeing an unarmed, scrawny little guy take on an armed lunatic. I guess the crowds at these shows have changed since I decided to stop my hearing loss at the hands of bands like Pantera.Daddy Hawkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01386749814126280114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1540162652707616108.post-80017394385589333172011-12-08T10:26:21.822-05:002011-12-08T10:26:21.822-05:00we always go out tonight and drink to the dime. sm...we always go out tonight and drink to the dime. smile, it's a blacktooth grin!Drewnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1540162652707616108.post-22708090945058851892011-12-08T10:12:52.149-05:002011-12-08T10:12:52.149-05:00You have to have some pretty F'ed up prioritie...You have to have some pretty F'ed up priorities to be despondent over a band's break-up.

And yes, the look on the cop's face is one of horror for having to take the life of another human. Hopefully he didn't suffer too much psychological damage and is still on the force.Broken Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01562569871940946226noreply@blogger.com
